Becoming a Member
Anyone may become a member of the Church of Universal Consciousness.
The only requirements for membership is a yearly fee of $50.
Sunday Services
Sunday services occur each Sunday from 7 PM – 9 PM in the Conscious Shala and are devoted to studying the Bhagavad Gita. Each service includes time for fellowship, a one-hour study group of the Gita, and time for discussion and contemplation.
Monthly Member Potlucks
Each month, members gather to break bread and be in conscious community. All church members are welcome to attend for food and fellowship.
Integration Circles
CoUC hosts monthly integration circles designed for anyone participating in either the church’s meditation ceremonies or their own self-study and meditation practices. These two-hour gatherings offer a chance to discuss your personal experience with other church members to help each other integrate your experience into your daily life.
Meditation Ceremonies
CoUC Meditation ceremonies typically occur monthly and are held on Saturdays from 3:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. A minister of the church will facilitate and guide each ceremony. Ceremonies include opportunities for intention setting, group agreements, roughly a four-and-a-half-hour silent meditation, a group sharing circle at the close of the ceremony, followed by enjoying a light snack before departing.
Guided Meditation Ceremonies cost between $200 – $250.
Need-based scholarships may be available.
Wellness Retreats
CoUC Members also have access to multiple wellness retreats hosted throughout the year. These retreats are facilitated by other church partners and practitioners.
Wellness retreat pricing is variable based on location, length, and partner. Please contact the church staff for more information on availability and pricing.
